“Santa's Reindeer’s Pix for December ‘07”

Hi, Porker P. Hargrove here, and it falls on me to get the attention of Santa’s reindeer to navigate the musical shoals and help find the buried treasure, the grail as it were, of terrific children’s music so that you and yours can give the gift that keeps on giving year-round. So to start the snowball rolling, let’s see what the Kidzmusic.com store has to offer. I’ll try to set up a conference call…ah, here we go! Who’s this?

Hi Porker, I’m Dasher and I’ve just had a double espresso so like, I’m SO ready for my pick and I’m picking…my nose, no, just kidding, I am picking the one and only Dan Crow’s Santa Songs. If this doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit you’re a Scrooge or Grinch or disgruntled politician! OK, losing my edge, time to brew up Santa’s favorite Christmas Eve blend. On Dancer!

Thanks Dash, I'm Dancer and, yes, I do like to dance, especially on Christmas Eve when we REALLY dance with the stars. My Songs for All Seasons by Geof Johnsonpickorama is Geof Johnson’s Songs For All Seasons That fabulous reviewer, John Wood, said about this album, “These tunes are expertly crafted, sincerely performed and instantly memorable.” Sounds like a winner!

Hmm, I think Dancer was paid to say that about John Wood, but be that as it may, Porker, I'm Prancer, and I’m leaning towards Dennis Scott’s Not Yet Ready For Bedtime Singers Storybook Party. l just love songs based on my favorite nursery rhyme characters. I couldn’t decide on Volume One or Two so I recommend a bigger stocking and stuff them both. Enjoy!

Vixen here and I have to agree with Prancy re: Mr. Wood, the brilliant reviewer who shares the same soil that we…soil. He said about Eric Herman’s Snow Day! (and, I quote) “Herman has his finger on the pulse of what works in writing, producing and performing songs that appeal to children and adults alike.” Man I’d buy the CD right now if I could hold a credit card in these hooves. Hey elf, get over here!

Comet checking in and I must say, that in a fit of uncontrolled nostalgia, I chose I Love Toy Trains by James Coffey. Why? Because trains and Christmas trees go together like Santa and Weightwatchers, that’s why!

I'm Cupid and a romantic at heart! I just love Mae Robertson’s voice and I’m picking Sweet Dreams because that’s gonna be me after Christmas Eve, baby!

Easy call for the Donder-meister, I’m doubling down with Janet & Judy’s 15 Greatest Hits. Tight harmonies, great playing and fun tunes round out this toe-tappin’ set.

Greetings, I’m Blitzen, and I’m a people or reindeer person and I just love group activities – actually, I have abandonment issues – and I love Come and Make A Circle 2 by Susan Salidor. Did I mention I like group activities??

Whazzup, I’m Rudolph, the most famous reindeer of all, and you just can’t go wrong with any album by Parachute Express – they rock like me! Try Don’t Blink and you’ll be hooked. Well, gotta go and make sure the other reindeer aren’t playing reindeer games or watching Reindeer Games with Ben Affleck (loved him in Pearl Harbor).

All these great albums and many more are available right here at Kidzmusic.com! Happy Holidays from Porker P. Hargrove and all the Reindeers!
